Unimer: 29% Decline in Revenue in the First Half of 2025, Impacted by Decrease in Sardine Landings

In the second quarter of 2025, Unimer's consolidated revenue amounted to 259 million dirhams, down from 297 million dirhams in the same period last year. For the entire first half, revenue totaled 391 million dirhams, a decrease from 570 million dirhams recorded during the same period in 2024.
This decline is mainly attributed to a 29% reduction in national sardine landings in the first half of 2025, according to statistics from the National Fisheries Office. The Group emphasizes that this trend is temporary and does not reflect annual patterns, as the fishing campaign experienced significant delays.
Since the beginning of the second half, sardine landings have shown a gradual recovery, which is expected to support international demand and enhance commercial performance by the end of the 2025 fiscal year.
Unimer's consolidated investments reached 13.7 million dirhams in the first half of 2025, compared to 17.8 million dirhams a year earlier. These investments are focused on strengthening industrial capacities and modernizing production tools.
Additionally, consolidated net debt decreased to 791 million dirhams, an 8% decline year-on-year, confirming the ongoing efforts to optimize the Group's financial structure.
