Akdital successfully completes a bond issuance of 1.2 billion dirhams to finance its international development

Akdital has successfully completed a bond issuance totaling 1.2 billion dirhams, structured in four tranches to finance its international development.
The details of the bond tranches are as follows:
- Tranche A: 7-year maturity bonds, amortizable with a one-year grace period on the principal, at a fixed rate, negotiable over-the-counter, amounting to 610 million dirhams.
- Tranche B: 7-year maturity bonds, amortizable with a one-year grace period on the principal, at an annually adjustable rate, negotiable over-the-counter, totaling 240 million dirhams.
- Tranche C: 7-year maturity bonds, bullet repayment, at a fixed rate, negotiable over-the-counter, amounting to 50 million dirhams.
- Tranche D: 7-year maturity bonds, bullet repayment, at an annually adjustable rate, negotiable over-the-counter, totaling 300 million dirhams.
Through this bond issuance, AKDITAL aims to support its international expansion, diversify its funding sources, and optimize its debt costs.
Between 2025 and 2027, AKDITAL plans to strengthen its national network by adding 2,700 additional beds over three years, including 405 beds opened in the first half of 2025, increasing its total capacity to 6,400 beds by 2027. This development program represents a total investment of 3.4 billion dirhams over three years.
The group also intends to expand internationally, focusing primarily on two countries: the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Current projects include the construction of a multidisciplinary hospital and an oncology center in Dubai, scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2027, as well as the acquisition of a hospital in Riyadh, which will undergo operational redeployment under AKDITAL management by the end of 2025. This international expansion program represents a total investment of 1.2 billion dirhams.
