AKDITAL Group has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the acquisition of a majority stake in Bishri Hospital, located in Mecca, subject to the fulfillment of required regulatory and operational conditions in the coming weeks.
Bishri Hospital, operational for two years and recognized as a reference for care in the holy city, is ideally situated in the heart of Mecca and offers a capacity of 120 beds. The multidisciplinary facility provides various specialties, including cardiology, interventional cardiology, and general surgery, along with an intensive care unit and a comprehensive radiology department.
This acquisition is part of AKDITAL's development program in the Gulf region, specifically in Saudi Arabia. Following the acquisition of Al Mishari Hospital in Riyadh, this new operation reflects the Group's commitment to sustainably contribute to the development of the healthcare sector in the Kingdom.
Through this acquisition, AKDITAL aims to align with the initiatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by complementarily enhancing hospital services, raising the standards of care quality, and supporting the modernization of healthcare infrastructure, all while strictly adhering to existing regulatory frameworks.
This operation marks a new step in AKDITAL's gradual deployment in Saudi Arabia and confirms the Group's intention to establish a lasting presence in the regional healthcare ecosystem.
