Afriquia Gaz: Revenue Increases by 11% in the First Half of 2025
In the second quarter of 2025, Afriquia Gaz achieved a social revenue of 2.224 billion dirhams (MDH), reflecting a 2.96% increase compared to Q2 2024. For the first six months of 2025, the revenue grew by 10.13% compared to the same period in 2024, totaling 4.596 billion dirhams. On a consolidated basis, the group reported a revenue of 2.29 billion dirhams, up from 2.18 billion dirhams during the same period in 2024. For the entire semester, revenues reached 4.7 billion dirhams, compared to 4.23 billion dirhams a year earlier, marking an increase of nearly 11%. The sales volume for Q2 2025 stood at 315,610 tonnes, nearly stable compared to last year’s 318,867 tonnes. Over six months, the total volume reached 631,950 tonnes, slightly up from 630,954 tonnes in S1 2024. In terms of investments and debt, the company invested 102.4 million dirhams in the second quarter, a slight decrease from the 119.1 million dirhams invested a year earlier. Cumulatively, investments for S1 2025 amounted to 197.9 million dirhams, down from 241.7 million dirhams in 2024. On a consolidated level, investments totaled 213 million dirhams by the end of June 2025, compared to 271.8 million dirhams during the same period of the previous year. Consolidated net financial debt increased to 823.4 million dirhams by the end of June 2025, up from 692.2 million dirhams a year earlier, indicating a greater reliance on financing to support operations and equipment needs. Looking ahead, Afriquia Gaz aims to maintain its momentum in the second half of 2025 and confirms that it is on track to meet its annual objectives.
