Stock Exchange: Launch of a Program to Support Industrial Companies Towards Growth
The official launch of this program was conducted by Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Chakib Alj, President of CGEM, Mr. Brahim Benjelloun Touimi, and Mr. Tarik Senhaji, respectively President of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, along with Mr. Nasser Nasser Seddiqi, Director of the AMMC's Business Division, and the leaders of selected industrial companies participating in the program. The program aims to train and support national champions operating in strategic industrial sectors, including agri-food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and metallurgy. A total of 30 top-tier Moroccan industrial companies, some with revenues exceeding 500 million MAD, have been selected to benefit from this support and to reach new levels of growth. The training will cover four key modules: entrepreneurial mindset and capital opening; strategy, governance, and organization; an overview of financing solutions; and the construction and valuation of an Equity Story. By the end of the program, participating companies will have acquired the knowledge, tools, and best practices necessary to structure their financing projects through the capital market, particularly via an initial public offering. Through this initiative, the partners reaffirm their commitment to supporting the growth of Moroccan companies and contributing to the establishment of a competitive, robust, and sustainable economic fabric. They also emphasize the central role of the capital market, especially the stock exchange, in financing the national economy.
