
The liquidity deficit has decreased by 3.37% during the week of September 18 to 24. This reduction coincides with a decline in the seven-day advances from Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM), which fell by 1.57 billion dirhams to reach 58.3 billion dirhams, as noted in BKGR's recent report "Fixed Income Weekly."
Additionally, Treasury placements have decreased, with a maximum daily outstanding amount of 13.8 billion dirhams, down from 16.7 billion dirhams in the previous period.
The average weighted rate (TMP) has remained stable at 2.25%, while the Moroccan Overnight Index Average (MONIA) has decreased to 2.187%.
Looking ahead, BKGR indicates that BAM is expected to reduce the pace of its interventions in the money market, setting the volume of its seven-day advances at 54.8 billion dirhams, compared to 58.3 billion dirhams in the previous period.
