In light of the historic turning point in the National Cause process and considering the decisive developments brought about by Security Council Resolution 2797/2025, it has been decided to declare October 31 of each year a national holiday. This decision follows the recent speech delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to his loyal people.
His Majesty has named this national holiday "Aid Al Wahda" (Unity Day), reflecting its significance in terms of national unity and the unwavering territorial integrity of the Kingdom. This day will serve as a unifying national occasion for expressing commitment to the Kingdom's national sanctities and legitimate rights.
Additionally, it has been decided that the Royal Speech will be delivered on two official occasions: first during the glorious Throne Day celebration and second at the opening of Parliament. His Majesty, as Amir Al-Mouminine and Head of State, reserves the right to address his loyal people at any time and on any occasion deemed appropriate.
The planned festivities for the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious Green March will also proceed, although His Majesty will not deliver a speech to the nation on this occasion.
