Nadia Fettah Meets with Ousmane Dione, Vice President of the World Bank for the MENAAP Region

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Nadia Fettah, Morocco's Minister of Economy and Finance, welcomed Ousmane Dione, Vice President of the World Bank (WB) for the MENAAP region, at the Ministry's headquarters.
During their meeting, Fettah and Dione reviewed various aspects of cooperation between Morocco and the World Bank Group. They praised the excellence of this partnership and discussed promising collaboration prospects, particularly in light of significant reform projects initiated by the Kingdom.
Fettah emphasized that Morocco is entering a new phase of economic and social development through the 2026 finance bill. This phase is focused on inclusive growth and integrated territorial development, in line with Royal High Directions. It prioritizes vital social sectors, including health, social protection, and education, while promoting decentralization and solidarity among territorial entities.
Dione noted that the new Country Partnership Framework (CPF) to be signed between Morocco and the World Bank in the coming months will concentrate on the priorities of the New Development Model. He reiterated the World Bank Group's support for the structural and sectoral reform efforts undertaken by the Kingdom.
