Microdata: Net Income Decreases by 19.8% in the First Half of 2025
The first half of 2025 for Microdata was characterized by several key developments. Firstly, the overall commercial performance of the company remained stable despite delays in the deployment of certain infrastructure projects. Secondly, there was a decline in operating income, primarily due to a decrease in semi-annual revenue. Lastly, net income fell, influenced in part by a lower financial result affected by fluctuations in the Dollar/Dirham exchange rate. As of June 30, 2025, Microdata reported a revenue of 504.1 million dirhams, a decrease of 9.16% compared to the first half of 2024. This decline was mainly due to delays in the deployment and billing of several key account projects. Consequently, operating income decreased by 12.45% compared to the first half of 2024, reaching 70.6 million dirhams. Net income stood at 49.0 million dirhams, down 19.77% from the same period in 2024. It is noteworthy that Microdata has not yet consolidated its subsidiary DGSM due to the insignificance of its main financial indicators. As of June 30, 2025, DGSM's revenue accounted for less than 0.2% of Microdata's semi-annual revenue, and its net income represented less than 0.9% of Microdata's semi-annual net income. In the coming days, a supplementary press release will be issued to inform the Microdata investor community about the availability of its semi-annual financial report for the first half of the 2025 fiscal year. Outlook: Given Microdata's strong market position, management remains confident about the prospects for profitable growth in the upcoming periods.
