Marsa Maroc officially enters 60% of the capital of Raja via Ports4Impact for 150 million MAD

Marsa Maroc has officially announced its entry into the capital of Raja Club Athletic (RCA) with a 60% stake, facilitated through the association Ports4Impact. This investment amounts to 150 million MAD, spread over three years, aimed at supporting the restructuring of this iconic club and preserving a significant part of Morocco's sports heritage.
Since 1987, the Office d'Exploitation des Ports, the predecessor of Marsa Maroc, has been a supporter of RCA, a club that has long resonated with fans in Morocco and Africa. Over the years, this support has evolved into a strong commitment, which Marsa Maroc continues to uphold today. This relationship goes beyond mere sponsorship; it symbolizes mutual recognition between a leading Moroccan company focused on excellence and African outreach, and a club that embodies shared values of leadership, performance, patriotism, and African identity.
The partnership between Marsa Maroc and RCA is now taking on a new dimension. The association Ports4Impact marks this evolution by acquiring a significant stake in Raja Club Athletic S.A. This operation is not driven by financial profitability but reflects a responsible approach aimed at contributing positively to the club's reconstruction, without any profit motives. Should any profits or dividends arise in the future, Ports4Impact commits to reinvesting them entirely back into the club to ensure sustainable support for its development.
This initiative aligns with the current national momentum towards structuring football and professional clubs in Morocco. It is motivated by the desire to assist RCA in its restructuring, helping it establish solid foundations in governance and management, with the ambition of regaining its status as a leading club both nationally and continentally.
Ports4Impact's role will focus exclusively on areas where Marsa Maroc has proven expertise, providing real added value to the club in governance and management practices. As the majority shareholder of Raja Club Athletic S.A., Ports4Impact will appoint the President responsible for overseeing the club's management and institutional development activities. Meanwhile, the sports governance aspect will remain under the purview of RCA, which will continue to manage its strategic and operational direction through its own governing bodies.
Through this initiative, Ports4Impact reaffirms its commitment to promoting national sports, supporting Moroccan youth passionate about football, and the shared ambition of elevating Moroccan sports on both continental and international stages. Ports4Impact approaches this project with diligence, respecting what Raja Club Athletic represents: an institution, a popular passion, and an ambassador of Moroccan football.
