Logistics: Moncef Belkhayat Signs Mega Deal with Varun Beverages Morocco (PepsiCo)

Buildings & Logistics Services (BLS), a subsidiary of H&S Invest Holding led by Moncef Belkhayat, has finalized a strategic partnership with Varun Beverages Morocco. Varun Beverages is the franchisee and producer of PepsiCo brands such as Pepsi and Lay’s. The partnership involves the provision of a 31,000 m² logistics space, valued at 120 million Dirhams, over a firm duration of nine years. A logistics platform currently under construction in Lakhyayta, south of Casablanca, will host this contract, which is now recognized as the largest warehousing operation ever undertaken in Morocco's fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. During the signing ceremony, Alahaddine Mouaddib, CEO of Varun Beverages Morocco, stated, “We chose to entrust our logistics operations to a leading national player to fully refocus on our core business: the development of our brands. Pepsi, Lay’s, and all the brands in our portfolio still have significant growth potential, and we need an expert partner in warehousing and transport to support our development.” Moncef Belkhayat, CEO of BLS, emphasized, “We are pleased to see major national and multinational companies outsourcing their logistics. BLS is positioning itself as an integrated end-to-end operator in freight forwarding, transit, transport, and warehousing. The provision of 31,000 m² for nine years is a national record in the FMCG sector. We are currently scaling our capabilities with an investment of 2 billion Dirhams over the next two years to support the growth of our current clients, particularly Varun Beverages Morocco.”
