The Moroccan construction companies TGCC, SGTM, and Jet Contractors have been shortlisted by the National Office of Railways (ONCF) for the LGV Kénitra–Marrakech project. This selection follows an eligibility study and positions these firms as key players in one of the most significant contracts within the high-speed rail program.
The project encompasses several major lots, including the Hassan II station, Casa Sud, Marrakech Guéliz, airport stations in Casablanca and Rabat-Salé, maintenance technicenters, and various strategic sites along the route. The technical and financial scope of the program makes it a benchmark project for the bidding companies.
In addition to the three Moroccan groups, other international consortiums have also been shortlisted, including URBAGEC/Separator, Menasteel Industry, and China Overseas Engineering Group. The final selection will occur after a thorough technical and financial analysis of the submitted offers.
This shortlist underscores the strong positioning of the three listed operators in the heavy rail infrastructure sector and enhances their visibility in a national pipeline that is expected to be particularly busy.
