HPS, a leading global provider of payment solutions, has announced the signing of two major agreements with large Asian financial institutions, ranked among the top 100 and 200 banks worldwide. Each contract is valued at several tens of millions of US dollars and will be deployed On-Premise, allowing HPS to see a significant contribution to revenue and EBITDA starting in the second half of 2025.
Both agreements are based on PowerCARD V4, the latest generation of HPS's technology platform, designed to deliver next-generation performance, agility, and security. These projects aim to deploy HPS technology to modernize the entire payment platform in the most dynamic and demanding markets of the Asia-Pacific region, serving a population of over 500 million people.
Abdeslam Alaoui Smaili, CEO of HPS, stated, "These two strategic successes with leading financial institutions represent a major milestone in our international growth strategy. They illustrate the robustness and scalability of PowerCARD V4 and provide strong visibility on revenues and results starting in 2025, as we continue our expansion in Asia and solidify HPS's position as a global leader in payment technologies."
Building on several other large-scale contracts signed in Asia in recent years, these new agreements strengthen HPS's position as a key player in the region, benefiting from strong credibility and visibility among top banks and financial institutions. Asia is currently the largest and most dynamic market in the payments industry, and HPS is increasingly recognized as a preferred partner for major institutions.
These On-Premise projects fully align with HPS's long-term SaaS transition strategy. While the Group's strategy remains focused on expanding its SaaS offerings, HPS continues to provide its clients with flexibility and choice in deployment models. The signing of large-scale On-Premise contracts helps mitigate the short-term financial impacts of the SaaS transition on revenue growth and profitability, while reinforcing the sustainability of HPS's business model.
