Introduction to the Initiative
The Mohammed VI Fund for Investment (FM6I) has unveiled a new program designed to enhance the capabilities of Moroccan enterprises, facilitating their readiness for investment opportunities.
This initiative is a direct continuation of the selection process for fourteen thematic and sectoral funds announced in July 2025, which serves as a foundational element of the Fund's private equity strategy.
Objectives of the Program
The program aims to assist Moroccan companies in gradually aligning with investor expectations, particularly in areas such as governance, financial transparency, strategic structuring, and growth trajectories.
It is part of a broader strategy to enhance the quality of the national production fabric and to sustainably strengthen its competitiveness.
Economic Development Goals
Through this initiative, the FM6I addresses a critical aspect of national economic development: establishing a competitive, structured, and sustainable entrepreneurial base. This is achievable through the emergence of a credible and mature pipeline of companies capable of effectively utilizing resources mobilized by the private equity sector.
Program Scope and Structure
Targeting 1,500 companies over a five-year period, the program is structured around a comprehensive pathway that includes in-depth diagnostics, strategic support, operational strengthening, and financial maturity enhancement.
This framework enables beneficiary companies to better understand the various financing instruments available and to prepare for capital mobilization.
Regional Focus and Inclusivity
The program adopts a pronounced territorial approach, reaching out to businesses from all regions of the Kingdom while considering local economic specifics and national sectoral priorities.
This contributes to a more balanced development of the entrepreneurial landscape and aligns it progressively with international best practices.
FM6I's Commitment to Development
With this launch, the FM6I reaffirms its role as a key sovereign player, combining the mobilization of high-value financial and non-financial resources to support the development of Moroccan enterprises and promote productive investment.
