
European stock markets began the week on a positive note. In Paris, the CAC 40 rose by 0.11% to 7,751.75 points around 07:13 GMT.
In Frankfurt, the DAX increased by 0.17%, while in London, the FTSE 100 climbed by 0.28%. The EuroStoxx 50 index saw a rise of 0.25%, and the FTSEurofirst 300 gained 0.35%.
Additionally, U.S. President Trump and Russian President Putin are scheduled to meet in Alaska on Friday to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, although Ukrainian President Zelenskyy is not expected to attend. Ahead of these negotiations, European leaders are seeking to meet with Trump.
