Christine Lagarde, the President of the ECB, recently stated that the monetary policy is "well-oriented."
Recent data revealed that the Eurozone economy grew by 0.3% in the third quarter, significantly exceeding the ECB's forecasts published in September. Meanwhile, inflation reached 2.1% in November, slightly above the target of 2%.
Investors are also closely monitoring the ECB's outlook for 2026, particularly regarding the possibility of an interest rate increase. The market estimates the likelihood of such a hike by the end of 2026 to be around 30%.
Additionally, the central bank is expected to release updated projections from its services and is likely to revise its growth forecasts upward.
