Dislog finalizes the structuring of Dislog Medical Device
Dislog Group has reached a decisive milestone in its diversification strategy with the official launch of Dislog Medical Devices (DMD). This new entity brings together six specialized subsidiaries—Megaflex, Afrobiomedic, Farmalac, Eramedic, Promedstore Imaging, and Scomedica—creating a leading integrated player in the medical device sector in Morocco, with clear continental ambitions. This build-up project is accompanied by significant financial and organizational operations. A fundraising effort of 700 million dirhams has been completed to finance the development of DMD in Morocco and Africa over the next two years. Additionally, 11% of the capital has been opened to the founding management of the six integrated companies. The group has also finalized the acquisition of the remaining shares of Megaflex and Scomedica, ensuring total control over these entities. In terms of governance, Mehdi Bouamrani has been appointed as the chairman of the board, while Karim Hajj Riffi takes on the role of CEO. A strategic steering committee has been formed, comprising key shareholder executives. The founders of the subsidiaries will retain operational leadership of their respective companies within a now unified organizational structure. An integration seminar, gathering 250 employees, has helped unite the teams around an ambitious goal: to achieve 2 billion dirhams in revenue by 2028. The project benefits from strong financial backing. MCP and CDG Invest Growth are jointly investing 540 million dirhams, representing 35% of the capital. The founders are contributing 190 million dirhams (11%), while Dislog Group maintains the majority and operational control, with a direct cash commitment of 700 million dirhams. With already 1.1 billion dirhams in revenue, 250 employees, and a presence in over 65 countries, Dislog Medical Devices immediately ranks as the third-largest player in the national sector. The company positions itself as a "One Stop Shop" for health, covering the design, manufacturing, and distribution of single-use medical devices across all therapeutic areas. Internationalization has already begun, with the opening of a subsidiary in Tunisia, marking the first step in a structured African expansion. DMD plans to detail its continental strategy at the Arab Health 2026 exhibition in Dubai, further asserting its long-term ambitions.
