CMGP Group Awarded Contract for Hydraulic Distribution Network in Saïss Agricultural Project

Contract Overview
CMGP Group has been awarded a significant contract valued at 345.5 million MAD, inclusive of taxes, for the development of a modern hydraulic distribution network. This project is designed to ensure sustainable irrigation for the Saïss plain while alleviating pressure on groundwater resources.
Project Objectives
The initiative aims to bolster the resilience of agricultural operations and enhance crop yields through reliable and controlled irrigation methods. It is a key component of the national strategy known as 'Génération Green,' which addresses critical issues such as water stress, food security, and inclusive rural development.
Water Supply and Expansion Plans
The project will facilitate the delivery of over 125 million cubic meters of surface water from the M’dez dam, initially targeting the irrigation of 10,000 hectares, with plans to expand this to 30,000 hectares in the future.
