The construction sector experienced dynamic growth in the second half of 2025, fueled by a significant infrastructure program linked to upcoming major football competitions, including the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2025) and the 2030 World Cup.
In this favorable context, the national cement market recorded a 9.8% increase as of June 30, 2025, compared to the same period in the previous year. Consequently, Ciments du Maroc's revenue for the first half of 2025 reached 2,192 million MAD, reflecting a 10.1% rise.
The relative stability of petroleum coke prices, combined with ongoing industrial excellence programs and controlled spending, enabled Ciments du Maroc to manage its costs effectively. As a result, operating profit increased by 23.2% compared to June 2024. The net profit, positively impacted by a capital gain from an asset sale, amounted to 608 million MAD, representing a 37.7% increase from June 2024.
In 2025, Ciments du Maroc continued its efforts to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions through the significant use of alternative fuels and the promotion of low-carbon products. Additionally, the company commissioned its first photovoltaic park at the Ait Baha plant in December 2024, with a second solar park set to be operational in the second half of 2025.
The company remains committed to collaborating with local communities to support recycling and waste recovery in its factories. Furthermore, as of June 30, 2025, Ciments du Maroc completed the acquisition of 62.62% of Asment de Témara and 99.99% of Grabemaro. This strategic move will significantly strengthen the Group's presence in the Kingdom in the coming years.
Looking ahead, the growth prospects for the construction sector in Morocco remain very positive. Major infrastructure projects are expected to continue in the coming years. Additionally, housing assistance measures, coupled with a low central bank interest rate, are likely to benefit the residential sector. In this context, the company anticipates an increase in its results for both the 2025 fiscal year and the following years.
