Casablanca Stock Exchange: Three Licensed Intermediaries to Operate in the Futures Market
The licenses granted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance represent a significant advancement in the modernization of national financial markets. These licenses will enable both institutional and individual investors to hedge their positions in the stock market and diversify their strategies through derivative products. The effective entry of the first licensed intermediaries—CFG Marchés, BMCE Capital Bourse, and CDG Capital Bourse—paves the way for the completion of the futures market framework, which is expected to enhance the depth and attractiveness of the Casablanca financial hub. As a reminder, the Casablanca Stock Exchange is set to introduce its first derivative product, a futures contract based on the Masi20 index. The launch is anticipated to occur soon, according to market operators.
