The Casablanca Stock Exchange concluded the week on a strong note, achieving its fourth consecutive day of increases. The MASI index rose by 0.65%, closing at 18,938.30, which translates to a weekly gain of 2%. Its annual growth now stands at +28.19%. The MASI 20 index, which includes the largest capitalizations, followed a similar trend, recording a daily increase of +0.54% and closing at 1,526.38 points, with a weekly gain of 1.59%. Market activity remained robust on the central market, with a total volume of 1.167 billion dirhams, bringing the weekly total to 2.845 billion dirhams. LafargeHolcim led the volume with 271 million dirhams at a price of 1,840.00 dirhams, after reaching an intraday high of 1,878.00 dirhams. Maroc Telecom followed with a volume of 248 million dirhams at 112.20 dirhams, while Attijariwafa Bank recorded 121 million dirhams at 764.00 dirhams. Another notable stock was Marsa Maroc, with 63 million dirhams traded at 989.90 dirhams. In terms of top performers, SGTM continued to shine, gaining nearly 10% to reach 614.70 dirhams. Since its introduction, the stock has shown a cumulative performance of 46.36%. The overall market capitalization now stands at 1,036 billion dirhams. In other news, the bond market has kicked off the year-end rally, with mutual funds maintaining an upward trend at 811.4 billion dirhams. AKDITAL announced the acquisition of a private hospital in the heart of Mecca. Treasury issuances are expected to not exceed 7.5 billion dirhams in December.
