
On September 25, 2025, the Casablanca Stock Exchange began the session positively but quickly shifted into negative territory, continuing its consolidation trend. The MASI index fell by 0.96%, closing at 19,430.04 points. The MASI 20, which tracks the largest liquid capitalizations, decreased by 1.06% to 1,582.11 points, bringing its year-to-date performance to +32.61%.
Market activity remained limited, with total trading volumes reaching 423 million dirhams on the central market. TGCC led the transactions with a volume of 60 million dirhams, although its stock declined by 2.54% to 922 dirhams. Attijariwafa Bank also contributed to the trading volume, with 57 million dirhams exchanged, down by 0.66% to 765 dirhams. Marsa Maroc saw a decrease to 961 dirhams on a volume of 40 million dirhams. The total market capitalization stood at 1,025 billion dirhams.
In terms of stock performance, Involys rose by 9.97% to 166.05 dirhams, while SBM retraced some of its previous gains, falling by 6.52% to 2,150 dirhams.
In related news, Sanlam Maroc reported a decline in net income for the first half of 2025, while Sothema announced an 18% increase in profits for the same period. Involys also reported significantly improved results for the first half of 2025.
