On September 19, 2025, the Casablanca Stock Exchange extended its bullish momentum, marking another positive session. The MASI index rose by 0.73%, closing at 19,944.13 points, which brings its weekly change to 0.58%. Year-to-date, the index has increased by 35%. The MASI 20, which includes the largest market capitalizations, followed a similar trend, gaining 0.72% to reach 1,627.22 points. Activity in the central "Equities" market was particularly strong, with a daily trading volume of 420 million dirhams, totaling nearly 1.7 billion dirhams for the week. Attijariwafa Bank led the trading with a volume of 72 million dirhams, despite a modest increase of only 0.13% to 778.00 dirhams. TGCC saw a decline of 1.02%, closing at 970.00 dirhams with 44 million dirhams in transactions. RDS experienced a significant drop of 4.89% to 175 dirhams, ranking among the day's biggest losers with a volume of 36 million dirhams. On the gainers' list, Ciments du Maroc surged by 9.19% to 2,150 dirhams. Beverages of Morocco and Total Energies Marketing Morocco also reported gains of 6.92% and 6.44%, closing at 2,350.00 dirhams and 1,900.00 dirhams, respectively. In other news, Afric Industries reported a 35% increase in net income for the first half of the year. The Bank Al-Maghrib council is expected to maintain a second monetary policy status quo (BKGR).
