Market Overview

The MASI index concluded trading on Friday at 18,573.12 points, reflecting a decrease of 0.39%. This decline has contributed to an overall year-to-date performance of -1.45%.

The MASI 20 index also experienced a downturn, finishing at 1,431.63 points, down 0.62%, with an annual decline of 3.64%.

Trading Volume and Key Performers

Trading activity remained robust, with a total volume of 685.75 million dirhams. Minière Touissit led the trading volume, with transactions amounting to 87.83 million dirhams, and its stock price rose by 6.32% to close at 3,060 dirhams.

Attijariwafa Bank followed closely, recording 84.63 million dirhams in trades, maintaining a stable price of 750 dirhams. Alliances also showed positive movement, with a trading volume of 56.83 million dirhams and a price increase of 3.31% to 515 dirhams.

Notable Stock Movements

In addition to Minière Touissit, AGMA saw a price increase of 5.46%, closing at 6,855 dirhams, while IB Maroc advanced by 4.17% to reach 68.75 dirhams.

Conversely, Doha experienced a significant decline of 7.24%, closing at 28.20 dirhams on a trading volume of 34 million dirhams.

At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at 1,033.86 billion dirhams.
