
The Casablanca Stock Exchange continued its upward trend on Thursday. At the close, the benchmark MASI index rose by 0.16% to 19,873.73 points. Meanwhile, the MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, saw a slight increase of 0.09% to 1,623.77 points.
Market activity remained dynamic, with a total volume of 515 million dirhams, comprising 416 million dirhams on the central market and 99 million dirhams on the block market. Attijariwafa Bank led the trading with a volume of 70 million dirhams, closing at 777.00 dirhams, up by 0.27%. Marsa Maroc followed with 39.8 million dirhams in transactions, down by 0.51% to 980 dirhams, while TGCC generated 39 million dirhams in trades at 1,010 dirhams.
The overall market capitalization stood at 1,047 billion dirhams. Among the top gainers, Ennakl led with a nearly 10% increase to 58.69 dirhams. RDS also rose by 7.08% to 174 dirhams.
