Ayoub Azami appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sonasid

The Board acknowledged Mr. Elhadi's decision and paid tribute to his commitment and actions as Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2018, wishing him success in his future endeavors. Subsequently, the Board co-opted Mr. Ayoub Azami as a Director and unanimously decided to appoint him as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. Azami is a graduate engineer from the École Polytechnique in Paris and has a rich background in the heavy industry sector. He served as the General Manager of Lafarge Saudi Arabia from 2007 to 2010 and then as the General Manager of Sonasid from 2011 to 2015. From 2016 to 2025, he held the position of CEO of Marjane Holding within the Al Mada group. Mr. Ismail Akalay will continue to serve as the General Manager of the Company.
