
The group reported an overall increase of 32.6% in the combined segment of passenger vehicles (VP) and light commercial vehicles (VUL), with 2,131 units sold compared to 1,607 in July 2024. This monthly performance was notably boosted by CHERY, which made a strong entry with 50 vehicles sold, up from none the previous year.
NISSAN also showed impressive growth of 566.67%, increasing its sales from 45 to 300 units. DFSK and FIAT, which operate in a mixed segment (50% VP / 60% VUL), recorded significant increases of 161.11% and 211.72%, respectively, for the month.
Year-to-date, Auto Hall reported an 18.7% growth in VP+VUL sales, totaling 13,217 units by the end of July 2025, compared to 11,135 during the same period in 2024. This growth was particularly driven by CHERY, which sold 272 units since the beginning of the year, and NISSAN, which nearly doubled its volume with 841 sales compared to 381 in 2024.
Additionally, FIAT (mixed segment) showed a strong year-to-date performance with a growth of 177.26%, while DFSK increased by 30.92% in light commercial vehicles. Despite some declines, particularly for FORD (-88.51% in year-to-date VP) and MITSUBISHI (-30% in year-to-date VUL), the group managed to maintain a strongly positive overall momentum.
