Agricultural Equipment: CMGP Group Plans to Acquire 70% of SODIPIRE

In accordance with Article 15 of Law No. 44-12 regarding public offerings, and Article 2.19 of AMMC Circular No. 03/19 concerning financial operations and information, CMGP Group has announced that it has sent a letter of intent to the main shareholder of SODIPIRE SARL. This letter pertains to the acquisition of a majority stake representing 70% of the company's share capital. In line with current regulatory requirements, this transaction has been pre-notified to the Competition Council. This initiative is part of CMGP Group's strategic consolidation in the agricultural machinery sector and complements the Group's recent developments, including the launch of its first range of seeders in 2024. Additionally, this acquisition will strengthen CMGP Group's diversification of activities, aligning with its positioning as a one-stop-shop for agricultural professionals. Founded in 2013 and based in Berrechid, SODIPIRE SARL specializes in the import and distribution of tractors and agricultural equipment. The company generates a turnover of 50 million MAD and holds several exclusive distribution contracts with recognized international brands, including Hattat, Case-IH, and Antonio Carraro.
